Dispose My Meds
Drugs are expensive because they are potent. Although pharmaceuticals tend to be in small containers and are taken in small doses, they can pose a big clean up problem.
It is not wise to keep old drugs around. Such drugs might result in accidental overdoses.
You don't want to flush old drugs down the toilet or put them in the trash as many contain chemicals that pass through treatment plants and get in the water supply.
