Rocket Stove Design Base

Rocket Stove Design Base as information on making rocket stoves. These ultra efficient stoves allow people to cook with twigs and smaller pieces of biomass.

Because the stoves burn efficiently, they are dramatically reducing air pollution and deforestation in emerging markets. The stoves are becoming popular in first world nations where people seek ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

StoveTec produces the stoves on a commercial basis in China. Grover Rocket Stoves produces a USA made model. There are many sites offering instructions on building the stoves. Since the right combination of insulated materials and carefully measured sizes are critical for the stoves, I would go with a manufactured model.

BioLite is currently working on a stove equipped with a thermoelectric fan which can decrease emissions even further.
