SteemIt

For the last several months I've been playing with a the SteemIt social media network. The network is a little bit like twitter but it includes a funding mechanism. You earn a cyber token called STEEM when people upvote your post. Conversely, of course, you reward others when you upvote their posts.

The value of your upvote is determined by the amount of STEEM POWER that you have in your account.

Unfortunately, the funding mechanism makes the site frustrating for new users. I like the site to the extent that I decided to write a Guide for new SteemIt Users.
