Sunshine Review

The web opens the possibility for concerned cititzens to create web sites that influence and improve communication about local politics.

For that matter, there is a large number of blogs featuring a variety of views about local politics.

The problem is that is a really hard for local sites to develop good objective information. Those brave souls setting out to create an objective site about local politics will find themselves burning the midnight oil for little in return.

Our government has a structured political system with states, counties, cities towns and precincts, a better way to go about sharing objective political information is to create national web sites with information for the whole country.

The Sunshine Review is just such a site. This site is interested in government transparency. It has reviews on web sites and openess of government on the state and local level.

The Sunshine Review uses a wiki framework and invites the public to help bring sunshine to every level of government.
