myGreenElectronics

myGreenElectronics is a site by the Consumer Electronics Association encouraging people to recycle their consumer electronics.

The site lists local electronic recyclers. To use the site, one simply enters a zip code. The page will display a Google Map listing local recyclers.

One should think through the full lifecycle of any product they purchase. When shopping for electroncs, think green. Shopping green means looking for the energy star and carefully matching your purchase to your needs. When it is necessary to replace electronics, recycle.
