Tax Day Tea Party

There's been a lot of interest in tea parties of late. There's a number of parties planed for April 15^th. For that matter, there are folks starting to sing songs about such parties: (eg, the YouTube song by Llyod Marcus to the right).

I am assuming that this has something to do with an increased awareness of the health benefits of tea. Personally, I've started ordering bulk loose leaf tea online. With bulk tea, one doesn't waste the tea bag.

I am sure that this is just a coincidence, but April 15th also happens to be tax due date. With the stimulus bill and new budget, our national debt per family of three has jumped to over a hundred grand.

Imagining that a whole bunch of people will be spending late nights staring by candlelight at tax forms, I made the fun little picture below. If you are wondering, I set up the picture on a fireplace to give a gritty background.
