🠈  Mulligan Mint Fail  🠊

Mulligan Mint

Mulligan Mint was an attempt to create an alternative mint that would produce precious metal rounds for people interested in investing in precious metals.

The company was founded by Rob Gray (who founded something called the Open Currency Standard in 2007) and Chris Duane in 2012. Both advocated an ideology they called "“anarcho-capitalism”. The company tried contracting through Old Glory Mint. Mulligan then created it own minting facility. The company collapsed in 2013 and failed after a fall out between the founders.

There are numerous articles criticizing both partners. There are some videos showing Rob Grey selling a service called "Mind Mechanic."
